I live in a new build passivhaus (1yr old) block of 6 flats. I am on the first floor which is accessed via a flight of stairs (15 steps) in the communal hall area. The flat has a bath with overhead shower, 1 large bedroom and a bright and airy kitchen/living/dining area. The property is all electric with a heat source pump for the hot water and heating. Being a new passivhaus property means the building has been built to ensure that utility bills are kept down due to the building retaining the heat from the sun. In the year I have lived in this flat I have used the heating once for 3 days in the cold spell at the beginning of December 2022.
